The marathon called the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is about to start, and many things will be revealed in the next week, but before it all gets going, I’d like to take one last look at the forest before swooping down to the trees.
In my last post here, I covered a bit about the show itself and the uneasy dynamics among its producers, the large vendors, smaller players, attendees, analysts, media, hangers on, hotels and other the infrastructure, and the city itself. The stimulus for that topic was Microsoft’s throttling back on its leading role at CES."
